Prepare for the session
The Fall/Winter 2026-27 schedules include cancellation dates for holidays and events. Free sponsored skates are first-come, first-served and may have capacity limits; an expired sponsored date is not a recurring free program.
For parent-and-tot skating, everyone on the ice must wear skates. The town strongly recommends CSA-approved head protection for ice activities. Shinny requires full protective equipment.
Learn-to-skate instruction is directed to community and sports organizations. Ice or floor rental uses the separate rental-request process.
Fieldgate Sports Complex has newer separate programming. Its current visitor and facility-rental link is included below; the older three-site table must not be treated as the full current arena network.
